Description
The purpose of this course is to provide you with the competence and a framework to help in developing, implementing and maintaining an effective Quality Management System while meeting the ISO 9001:2015 requirements. The course aims to provide insight into the steps needed for the implementation of the ISO 9001:2015 as well as transition from ISO 9001:2008 to ISO 9001:2008.
You are expected to have a basic knowledge of the ISO 9001:2015 standards equivalent to attendance on the SGS ISO Awareness Training Courses.

- Having an overview of quality management systems.
- Discussing the ISO 9000 series of management system standards.
- Interpreting the advantages and disadvantages of ISO 9000.
- Discussing the ISO 9000 Quality Management Systems Fundamentals and Vocabulary.
- Interpreting the relationship between ISO 9001 and 9004.
Interpret the changes and structure of ISO 9001:2015 by:
- Having an overview of ISO 9001:2015.
- Interpreting process approach.
- Interpreting continual improvement.
- Interpreting the changes between ISO 9001:2015 vs ISO 9001:2008.
- Interpreting the purpose and importance of Annex A.
- Interpreting and applying the structure, scope and application of ISO 9001:2015.
Interpret and apply the requirements of ISO 9001:2015 Clauses 4 – 10 by:
- Interpreting and applying the implementation requirements of ISO 9001:2015, Clause 4: Context of the organisation.
- Interpreting and applying the implementation requirements of ISO 9001:2015, Clause 5: Leadership.
- Interpreting and applying the implementation requirements of ISO 9001:2015, Clause 6: Planning.
- Interpreting and applying the implementation requirements of ISO 9001:2015, Clause 7: Support.
- Interpreting and applying the implementation requirements of ISO 9001:2015, Clauses 8: Operation.
- Interpreting and applying the implementation requirements of ISO 9001:2015, Clause9: Performance evaluation.

Interpret and apply documentary and support requirements of ISO 9001:2015 by:
- Interpreting and identifying the records required by ISO 9001:2015.
- Interpreting and applying the requirements of ISO 9001:2015 for structuring documents and records.
- Interpreting and identifying the human resources (HR), support and training requirements of ISO 9001:2015.
Apply the implementation requirements of ISO 9001:2015 by:
- Preparing to Implement a QMS / moving from ISO 9001:2008 to ISO 9001:2015.
- Interpreting correlation matrices between ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 9001:2015.
- Applying risk-based thinking, PDCA and the process approach.
- Performing a GAP Analysis.
