Objectives
- I will have a good comprehension of the concept and classification of confined spaces, how to identify the hazards and be aware of potential incidents when entering confined spaces.
- I will be able to interpret the engineering and administrative controls of confined space hazards and be aware of all PPE and emergency equipment available to ensure my safety.
- I will be able to recognize the roles, responsibilities and training requirements of individuals working in confined spaces.
- I will gain insight into the confined space programme, the importance of planning and preparation before entering a confined space and the emergency procedures to follow in the event of an incident.
