Description
With the growing number of women employees at workplace, Prevention of Sexual Harassment(POSH) at the workplace is one of the important issues that organizations need to address.
In the year 2013, to support POSH, Government of India has passed an Act- “Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal)”.
Under this act, any organization having a strength of more than 10 employees must implement this law. As per the law, these organizations must have an Internal Complaints Committee with a woman heading it.
Also, organizations are responsible for spreading awareness and training their employees about this act.
POSH is one of the mandatory trainings in every organization.
