The purpose of this training qualification is to provide you with the knowledge, skills and attitude to recognize hazards and take effective preventative actions, prevent injuries and foster a healthy, safe and environmental culture at your workplace, while ensuring quality principles are adhered to.

Upon completion of this subject you will be able to:

• Have an overview of the ILO
• Have an overview of Legal Liability
• Have an overview of National Policy on OHS
• Interpret the duties of employers and employees
• Interpret a strategy to implement health and safety in the workplace
• Interpret the Inspector’s Statutory Interventions

This qualification is aimed at all Supervisors, Line Managers and anyone involved in Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Management in the workplace.
