This course is a guideline to achieve international environmental management standard that eventually sets out a process called “Environmental Performance Evaluation (EPE)” enabling an organization to measure, evaluate, and communicate their environmental performance using key performance indicator (KPIs). EPE is applicable to either small or large enterprises and can be used to support an Environmental Management System (EMS) or used independently.
The Course refers to ISO 14031:2013 giving a guidance to a design and use of EPE across an organization.
Objectives
Upon successful completion of this course, an organization will have an ability to demonstrate environmental performance evaluation and audit which are complementary tools to assess identify environmental areas for improvement.

- Opportunities for better management of its environmental aspects
- Threat to its environmental performance
- Efficiency and effectiveness review
- Identifying strategic opportunity
- Evaluating compliance or risk of non-compliance against legal requirements and other applied requirement
- Understanding of report and communication over environmental performance internally and externally
Audience
Anyone with a basic understanding of Environmental Management System : ISO 14001 or basic concept of Performance Indicators wishing to be capable of setting, measuring, evaluating and communicating on Environmental Performance
