<2019> ISO 50001:2018 Auditor Transition Course (Module 1 & 2 Combined Course)

Description

This training course with two modules consists of introduction of features of Annex SL and content relating to ISO 50001:2018 requirements. By undertaking the transition training at the earliest opportunity, you can equip yourself with the knowledge and understanding to audit against these new standards, placing yourself ahead of the competition. 

The objective of this course is to provide learners with the knowledge and skills required to perform an audit of part of an energy management system based on ISO 50001 (or equivalent) and report on the effective implementation and maintenance of the management system in accordance with ISO 19011 and to contribute to the continual improvement of the management system.

COURSE OUTLINE:

1. Introduction of Annex SL and  new ISO High Level Structure;
2. ISO 50001: 2018 Overview and Clauses 1-6
3. ISO 50001:2018 Clause 7
4. ISO 50001:2018 Clauses 8-10
5. Role-play Test
 6. Test

Remark:

• Course successful completion only satisfies part of the requirement for certification of auditor.
• The successful completion certificate is valid for 5 years for the purpose of certification by CQI/IRCA. 

Remarks for Exemption:

1. Delegate who has successfully completed the CQI/IRCA Certified ANNEX SL Auditor Course (CQI/IRCA Registration no. 17902 - PT 211) can exempt the 1st day training of the course.
2. Delegate needs to submit certificate for approval in advance.
 3. Delegate who successfully completed the 2nd day training and passed the exam will be only issued a certificate - ISO 50001:2018 Module 2 – Auditor Transition Course by IRCA (CQI/IRCA Registration no. 2096– PT 261)

 Registered EnMS Lead Auditor and SGS approved CQI/IRCA ISO 50001 Lead tutor with considerable field and theoretical background.

CERTIFICATION (Attendance: 100%):

• Delegates who successfully completed the course and passed the test will be issued Two Certificates (CQI/IRCA Ref.: M1: 17902 - PT 211 & M2: 2096– PT 261) by CQI/IRCA.
• Delegates who pass both the examination and continuous assessment will be issued with a “Certificate of Achievement” that satisfies the formal training for an individual seeking certification as a CQI / IRCA auditor/lead auditor. The “Certificate of Achievement” is valid for a period of five years from the date of the last day of the course for the purpose of certifying as an auditor with the CQI / IRCA.
• Delegates who do not pass the continuous assessment and have been in attendance for the full duration of the course will be issued with a “Certificate of Attendance”.

Objectives

Upon completion of this course, Learners  will be able to:

• Understand Annex SL as a framework for ISO management systems;
• Understand how to apply Annex SL to a relevant Standard specific management system;
• distinguish and comprehend the requirements of ISO 50001:2018;
• communicate any changes in the EnMS specific requirements arising because of transitioning from ISO 50001:2011 to ISO 50001:2018
