DESCRIPTION
SGS offers the training of Global Standard for Storage and Distribution, as set out by BRCGS. BRC Storage and Distribution training through SGS gives you a competitive edge by demonstrating your legal compliance and competence regarding food quality and product safety.
This course gives technical, quality and operations staff from the logistics industry, retailers and food service companies a clear understanding of the protocols and requirements of the BRC Global Standard for Storage and Distribution, including audit planning, and the events during and after the audits.
COURSE OUTLINE (2 DAYS) :
- Introduction to the Standard including the scope and structure of the Standard
- An in-depth review of the standard’s requirement clauses
- Interpretation and guidelines
- The auditing protocol and certification process
- Report writing and non-conformity classification
- Basis for clause exclusion and risk assessment
- Planning audits – particularly multi-site operations, satellite depots and Head offices
- New audit report - Levels of detail and expectations for quality
- Interactive workshops with case studies
- Continual assessment
NOTE:
- This course includes a written examination;
- Delegates should have read a copy of the BRC Global Standard Storage & Distribution Issue 3 before attending any related course.
