SA 8000:2014 Social Systems Foundation

DESCRIPTION

The purpose of this course is to equip learners with the knowledge of the purpose and requirements of SA8000:2014 as a preparation for further auditor training.

This course may be valuable as preparation for learners planning to complete other Social Systems-based training courses, such as the SS Auditor/Lead Auditor Training Course or the Internal SS Auditor Training Course. This course should be useful as an introduction for anyone involved in the development, implementation and management of a social system.

OBJECTIVES

After completing this course, learners will be able to:

• Describe the potential range of social issues that face organizations and auditors
• Describe the purpose of a management system
• Explain the purpose and content of SA8000 and its interrelationship with other standards
