Description
The purpose of this course is to equip the learners with the knowledge of the purpose and requirements of social systems and preparation for further auditor training. This course may be valuable as preparation for learners planning to complete other social systems-based training courses such as social systems auditor / lead auditor training course.
Objectives
Upon completion of this course, learners will be able to :
- Describe the responsibilities of an internal auditor and describe the role of internal audit in the maintenance and improvement of management systems, in accordance with Social Systems & ISO 19011
- Explain the principles, process and selected techniques used for the assignment and management of SMS (Social Management Systems) aspect and impact, including The significance of these for SMS Auditors.
- Plan and prepare for an internal audit, gather audit evidence through observation , interview and sampling of documents and records.
- Write factual audit reports that help to improve the effectiveness of the management system.
- Suggest ways in which the effectiveness of corrective action might be verified.
