
Description
The course aims to provide a structured training to impart knowledge of effective Integrated Management System – ISO 14001 (Environmental) and OHSAS 18001 (Occupational, Health & Safety) internal audit, which serves as a valuable management tool. For any organization that wants to manage its integrated management system effectively and meet requirements set out in ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001, this course will enable them to use the internal audit approach to fine-tune their integrated management system.
Important: Only the softcopy of the course material will be distributed on the day of training. Thus participants are reminded to bring along their laptop for the duration of the training.
Objectives
Upon successful completion of the course, participants will be able to:
- Acquire knowledge of ISO 14001:2015 & OHSAS 18001:2007 requirements
- Understand envrionmental aspects and impacts
- Perform hazard identification, risk assessment and determining control
- Determine the options for legal and other requirements' update
- Plan, prepare and execute EHS management system internal audit effectively
- Know the means of getting objective evidence
- Develop the skills of evaluating significance of audit findings and developing appropriate corrective/preventive measures
