Description
The world’s first occupational health and safety international standard was published on 12 March 2018. The main aim of this standard is intended to enable an organisation to provide safe and healthy workplaces, prevent work-related injury and ill health, and continually improve its IH&S performance. If organisation currently certified to OHSAS 18001 then organisation will need to migrate to ISO 45001 as OHSAS 18001 will be withdrawn
Prior Annex SL and/or OHSAS 18001 knowledge is preferred for this course.
Important: Only the softcopy of the course material will be distributed on the day of training. Thus participants are reminded to bring along their laptop for the duration of the training.
Objectives
The programme aims to provide delegates with learning how to:
- Describe the framework for managing OH&S
- Outline the main requirements of ISO 45001 requirements
- Summarise the key differences and similarities of ISO 45001 and OHSAS 18001
