ISO 45001, Occupational health and safety management systems – Requirements has been developed by ISO that will provide a framework to improve employee safety, reduce workplace risks and create better and safer working conditions.
This standard is developed by a committee of occupational health and safety experts, and will follow other generic management system approaches such as ISO 14001 and ISO 9001. It will take into account other International Standards in this area such as OHSAS 18001, the International Labour Organization's ILO-OSH Guidelines, various national standards and the ILO's international labour standards and conventions
Important: Only the softcopy of the course material will be distributed on the day of training. Thus participants are reminded to bring along their laptop for the duration of the training.
Objectives
The programme aims to provide delegates with learning how to:
- Define and explain the fundamental of OH&S
- List new terms and definitions apply in OH&S
- Understand and interpret the requirements of OH&S
- Explain and aware of activities involved for obtaining and maintaining certification
