Description
Internal auditing is fundamental to any improvement initiative. The OH&S standard requires that an organisation conduct internal audits to determine the effectiveness of its OH&S management system. Only Trained internal auditors can carry out these audits. This course is designed to increase the understanding of process based
auditing techniques and help internal auditors to accurately interpret and audit against the ISO 45001 requirements for improvement. Through practical workshop, case studies and role-play, delegate will gain the knowledge and skills to plan, conduct, report audit findings including followup audit on corrective actions taken so as to ensure continual improvement.
Important: Only the softcopy of the course material will be distributed on the day of training. Thus participants are reminded to bring along their laptop for the duration of the training.
Objectives
The programme aims to provide delegates with learning how to:
- Reproduce the knowledge and skills required to perform audits of management system against ISO 45001 in accordance with ISO 19011
- Discuss the processes needed in planning, preparation, auditing, reporting and followup
- Demonstrate the process based auditing in meeting the OH&S management system requirements
- Report audit findings to have balance summary status of the OH&S management systems
- Review effectiveness of corrective action(s) taken on audit findings to ensure that no recurrence of similar non-conformance(s).
