
Description
This course is particularly designed to equip delegates with knowledge, skills and generic guidance to perform a broader scope of management system audits.
Gaining specialist auditing skills enable to ensure a more systemic and support the achievement of sustained success of management systems. This is needed and applicable to any organization, regardless of size, type and activity.
This is not intended to be an implementer’s course, or one that will create an expert or one that will train to an acceptable level a delegate with no prior knowledge of the standard. Therefore, prior to attending this training course, we recommend that participants in this course demonstrate competence in the established management process, for example the successful completion of Anti-Bribery Management System Foundation Course, Risk Assessment and Due Diligence course and Internal auditor course.
The course duration is 32 hours including a two-hour written examination.
Participants may need to work late days over the week.
To successfully complete the Course, delegates must obtain at least 70% of the total marks available in the examination.
Important: Only the softcopy of the course material will be distributed on the day of training. Thus participants are reminded to bring along their laptop for the duration of the training.
Objectives
The programme aims to provide delegates with learning how to:
- Determine competence and evaluation of auditors to fulfil the needs of the audit programme
- Manage, monitor and review an audit programme effectively
- Conducting and completing the audit activities based on appropriate auditing approach
- Prepare value add audit reports and conclusions that all in accordance with ISO 19011.

This programme is suitable to develop and enhance the audit knowledge and auditing skills of management system practitioners or professionals, who may conduct first or second party audits.
