Description
This course is intended to provide participants with an overview on the purpose of Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) as the final result of the Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) process and give detailed assessment of the Production Part Approval Process requirements.
Understanding and appreciation of the requirements in PPAP submissions at various levels using the relevant forms enables the organization to facilitate the smooth conduct of the APQP process to manufacture products consistently and reliably to specified requirements during volume production.

Objectives
Upon completion of this course, the participant will be able to:- Understand the requirement of the PPAP
- Determine if customer engineering, design record and specification requirements are properly understood
- Be able to demonstrate that the production process has the potential to meet the cited requirements during an actual production run at the quoted production rate
Audience
This course is relevant to engineering, quality, manufacturing personnel involved in the application and implementation of the different automotive core tools in the manufacturing environment.
Course Pre-requisite:
There is no pre-requisite, however, it would be ideal if participants have previous understanding of statistical tools and techniques.
