This course is intended to provide participants with a thorough understanding of the analysis of problems and identification of root causes by using a systematic approach following the 8D problem solving process supported with defined quality control tools/techniques.

Objectives

This course will enable or equip participants to:
  • Comprehend and apply the 8D problem solving process in the work environment.
  • Utilize the applicable QC tools/techniques throughout the problem solving process.
  • Understand how to generate effective corrective and preventive actions.

Audience

This course is applicable to Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing Personnel involved in problem solving and/or facilitating groups in problem solving


Pre-Requisites:
Background in descriptive statistics and QC tools
