
Description
The Core Tools Module 3 course consists of 6 sessions.
In order to fully complete the course and understanf the IATF standard, 100% attendance and passing of exam is required.
Prior Knowledge
Before starting this course, learners are expected to have the following prior knowledge:
- Management Systems: Knowledge of the IATF 16949 standard
- Quality Management: A basic knowledge of the concepts of quality management and the relationship between quality management and customer satisfaction and understand the commonly used quality management terms and definitions, as given in ISO 9000
Objectives
On completion of this course, learners will be able to:
- Know the requirements regarding the Internal Auditors Qualification
- Understand the Measurement System Analysis (MSA) Core Tool
- Understand the Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) Core Tool
- Understand the Statistical Process Control (SPC) Core Tool

- Session 1 – Introduction to APQP & Supporting Core Tools
- Session 2 – Internal Auditors Qualification
- Session 3 - MSA
- Session 4 – FMEA
- Session 5 – SPC
- Session 6 – Exam Module 2 & 3
Examination
The examination comprises of multiple choice and true-false questions. It is an open-book examination.
To pass the examination, learners must achieve 70% of the total marks available.
Course Certification
Learners who attend the full duration of the course but did not pass the test will be issued with a certificate of attendance.
Learners who attend the full duration of the course and pass the test will be issued with a certificate of successful completion.
Audience
Please note that this course is not recommended for those delegates who have no prior knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 requirements or auditing techniques.
Alternatives courses can be offered to meet individual needs.
