• Describe the purpose of a BCMS including the principles, processes and techniques used for the management and implementation of a BCM system;
• Explain the purpose, content and interrelationship of ISO 22301:2012 and ISO 22301:2019, Business Continuity Management Requirement
• Interpret the requirements of ISO 22301:2019, Business Continuity Management Requirement
• Plan the implementation and certification of the system. 

OBJECTIVES

The objective of this course is to equip delegates with knowledge required to understand and implement the Business Continuity Management Systems against this national and international specifications, standards, statutory requirements and regulations.  Upon completion of this course, students should be able to understand the concept and the requirement.

• Understand the BCMS requirements outlined in ISO 22301:2019: Business Continuity      Management Requirement
• Describe and implement the BCMS
• Understand the building a Business Impact Analysis (BIA), business continuity plan.
• Implement a business continuity management system
• Utilize the best practice techniques contained in ISO 22317 and ISO 22398
