The purpose of this course is to provide delegates with a basic knowledge the ISO 45001:2018 including the management systems approach and requirements with guidance for use.
Objectives
The objective of this module is to equip participants with understanding of:
- The application of the principles of Occupational Health and Safety management.
- The key requirements of ISO 45001:2018.
- The relationship between the clauses of ISO 45001:2018.
Learners will need to demonstrate acceptable performance in these areas in order to complete the course successfully.
Audience
Before starting this Course, it is recommended that participants have prior knowledge of:
- Management systems and understand the Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) cycle.
- Knowledge of the concepts of Occupational Health and Safety management and the relationship between an organisation’s activities, products and services and Occupational Health and Safety risk.
- Commonly used Occupational Health and Safety management terms and definitions, as given in ISO 45001.
