For all technical & fee proposals of consultancy agreements and construction works tenders of capital works projects with BIM adoption to be invited on or after 1 January 2022, the BIM Coordinators who are not CCBC so engaged in capital works projects shall complete the CIC-Accredited BIM Coordinator Course by 1 July 2022.
DESCRIPTION
Within the CITF funding ceiling, each eligible trainee only need to pay as low as HK$3,240.
*To avoid double funding/subsidy, a Project, Training or any part thereof which will receive or has received funding/subsidy from another Government scheme will not be eligible to apply for the CITF
COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
Upon successful completion of the course students will be able to:
•Understand BIM Concept, standard, software and relevant technologies.
•Perform major BIM Uses
•Coordinate BIM projects and multidisciplinary collaboration for execution of BIM projects
•Execute and administer BIM design integration and common data environment of BIM documentation
PRE-REQUISITE AND ADMISSION REQUIREMENT
•Worked in construction industry for more than 1 year;
•Worked in at least one local BIM project;
•Basic operation of Autodesk Revit;
•To provide information on Applicants’ academic qualifications, length of working experience and BIM experience;
•Certificates for Autodesk Revit Training at least 30 hours;
•For Self-learning participant(s) without relevant certificates, passing an admission assessment is needed;
•We will provide a self-designed online form to assess the applicant(s), the passing mark must be at least 60 score.
•Priority will be given to project coordinator and professionals, who have completed their higher diploma in architecture, engineering, surveying, building or construction.

COURSE DURATION
(48 hrs totally including 45 learning hrs Plus 3 hrs exam)

CERTIFICATION
A certificate of completion will be awarded to the delegates with at least 75% of attendance and pass the end assessment

OBJECTIVES
It is CIC-accredited BIM Coordinator Course that aims at training up participant with the capabilities to be eligible as a certified BIM Coordinator under the Scheme. After the completion of the course, participant should have acquired the core competencies of a certified BIM Coordinator under the Scheme, such as BIM Concept, BIM Uses, BIM Processes, and Model Audit.
