
DESCRIPTION
COURSE OUTLINE (2 DAYS):
- Introduction to systematic framework of quality management system and emphasized concepts in managing quality management system with updated ISO 9001:2015
- Review of key requirements in specifications of ISO 9001:2015
- Principles and responsibilities of internal QMS auditors
- Planning, preparation and skill for conducting internal audit with consideration of risk and opportunities together with processes approaches in audit trails.
PRIOR KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:
You are expected to have the following prior knowledge:
- The Plan, Do, Check, Act (PDCA) cycle
- The core elements of a management system and the interrelationship between top management responsibility, policy, objective, planning, implementation, measurement, review and continual improvement.
The fundamental concepts and the seven quality management principles (see ISO 9001)
- Customer focus
- Leadership
- Engagement of people
- Process approach
- Improvement
- Evidence-based decision making
- Relationship management
- The relationship between quality management and customer satisfaction.
- An understanding of the requirements of ISO 9001 and the commonly used quality management terms and definitions, as given in ISO 9000, which may be gained by completing an HKICA Certified Foundation Training course or equivalent
CERTIFICATION (100% Attendance)
Delegates who successfully completed the course and passed the exam will be issued a completion of certificate by Hong Kong Institution of Certified Auditors and SGS HK Ltd.

REMARKS
- This course doesn’t cover interpretation of ISO 9001:2015 requirements. Delegates who are not familiar with the requirements should attend ISO 9001:2015 foundation course
- Course successful completion only satisfies part of the requirement for certification of auditor.
OBJECTIVES
China Certification & Accreditation Association (CCAA) and Hong Kong Institution of Certified Auditors (HKICA) has concluded an Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to embark on the collaboration arrangement of mutual recognition of both sides’ certified auditors.
This training course is certificated by HKICA, it enables delegates to have the skills and knowledge to conduct internal audit against ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems with incorporation of consideration about risks and opportunities, context of the organization in fulfilling needs, expectation of interested parties and report on the effective implementation and maintenance of the management system in accordance with ISO 19011. Delegates would be equipped with proficiency and confidence in performing an efficient internal audit against ISO 9001:2015.

Knowledge
Explain the process-based quality management system for ISO 9001 and the role of an internal audit in maintenance and improvement of quality management systems with reference to the PDCA cycle.
Explain the role and responsibilities of an auditor to plan, conduct, report and follow-up an internal quality management system audit in accordance with ISO 19011.
Skills
Plan, conduct, report and follow-up an internal audit of a quality management system based on ISO 9001, and in accordance with ISO 19011.
