Description
Water Footprint (WFP) is an indicator of climate change risk management after Carbon Footprint. Since quality and quantity of freshwater in the water cycle are continuously deteriorating, business owners are responsible to conserve such resources by analyzing where water is consumed and how water could be saved with the aid of ISO 14046:2014 Standard. Life cycle perspective provides a holistic view of water consumption and pollution caused by a business or a product, using information obtained from operations owned (direct) and outsourced (indirect) along the supply chain.
