Social Accountability 8000 (SA8000®) sets out specific auditable provisions regarding child labor, forced labor, health and safety, trade union rights, discrimination, disciplinary practices, compensation, working hours and management system. This is a 2-days comprehensive training course, provides delegates with systematic approach and practical workshops in grasping the crucial steps and skill for developing and implementing effective SA8000® Social Accountability Management system.
COURSE OUTLINE:
- Understanding the Management System requirements in SA8000® Effective ways and approach for establishing, implementing, maintaining, and continually improving the social management system in meeting the expectation of the stakeholders.
- Development of suitable documentation system (including policies, factory regulation, m procedures, action plans and instruction, etc.)
- Approach to review the performance of implemented system (including the self assessment using SAI Social Finger print tool for Performance Indicator Assessment (PIA))
- SA8000® Certification Assessment flow
- Practical Case studies in solutions dealing with the resistance from management, employees and supply chain on the system changes
- Useful workshops, lecturing and case studies to conduct the training
