He is also a lead auditor in ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 28000, and ISO 20000.

She is an ISO/IEC 27001 and ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, a Certified Information Security Auditor (CISA) and a Certified Data Centre Professional (CDCP). She has been managing and auditing data centres since 2008.

Objectives
ISO/IEC 20000-1 IT service management system (ITSMS) is an international standard that allows organizations to demonstrate excellence and prove best practice in IT service management. The ISO/IEC 20000-1 has been the benchmarking standard against which all IT Service Management processes are judged. It has been 7 years since the standard is last reviewed and revised by ISO/IEC JTC1/SC40. The new version was recently released on 15 Sep 2018. The direction of the changes in ISO/IEC 20000-1:2018 is to align with High Level Structure and common core texts and definitions commonly adopted by other ISO management system standards such as ISO 9001:2015 and ISO/IEC 27001:2013.

Certified organizations may have a 3 year transition period, which follows APMG requirement, to update to the new standard. The transition training provides a summary of the key changes in the new version as compared to the ISO/IEC 20000-1:2011 version and there are tips for your transition planning.
